Macro Editor ​

Overview ​

The Macro Editor panel allows users to create, edit, and manage custom automation scripts (macros) that perform repetitive or complex tasks within your Mantis space. Macros streamline workflows by bundling actions into single-click commands.

Purpose ​

  • Automate routine analysis or multi-step operations.
  • Customize actions for specific projects or team workflows.
  • Edit, test, and update macros as your needs change.

  • Script Editor: Write or modify macros using a code or visual interface.
  • Save & Load: Store frequently used macros for quick reuse.
  • Validation: Instantly check your macro for errors before running.
  • Preview Actions: See what your macro will do before executing.
  • Shareable Macros: Export or import macros to collaborate with others.

How to Use ​

  1. Open the Macro Editor panel.
  2. Click “New Macro” or select an existing macro to edit.
  3. Enter your actions in the script/visual editor.
  4. Save and test your macro as needed.
  5. Run the macro or share it with teammates.
