Overview

The Reader panel shows full document content — including paragraphs, slides, or snippets — for any selected points. It's your window into the original data behind the map.

Purpose

• Let users read and annotate raw text within Mantis.
• Preserve source fidelity while exploring embeddings or clusters.
• Support grounded review, summarization, and citation.

Key Features

• Paragraph View: Full content displayed per point, in context.
• Multi-Doc Mode: Review multiple documents in scrollable view.
• Summarization Support: Use the Narrator to say “Summarize these docs” or “100 words each.”
• Agent-Enhanced: Reader supports auto-highlighting, note-taking, and AI-powered commentary.

Tips

• Open Reader after lassoing a cluster to dig into its actual substance.
• Use Reader + Flashcards to build Q&A sets from dense documents.
• Combine with Explorer to follow up on summary suggestions.
