Explorer
Overview
The explorer panel showcases dynamic suggestions and relevant connections within your Mantis space. Operating similarly to a discovery engine - across modalities, bags, clusters, or trajectories.
Purpose
- Surfaces conceptually related regions based on selected points or queries.
- Suggests next steps, like new searches, cluster merges, or visualizations.
- Integrates alongside the narrator and agents to present summaries, questions, or additional interactive elements.
Key Features
- Multimodal Insight Surfacing: Works across text, image, molecule, or graph-based data.
- Context Awareness: Takes into account the user’s selections, prior queries, and bags.
- Agent Collaboration: Explorer often invokes agents (e.g., summarizer, searcher, plotter) to compile responses.
- Real-Time Updates: Continuously evolves as the space or user context changes.
Tips
- Use Explorer early in your session to orient yourself in a new space.
- Combine with Narrator commands to branch into multiple directions.
- Useful for ideation, debugging complex clusters, and hypothesis formation.
