Overview

Live Image Preview allows you to instantly view and explore any visual data (images, diagrams, slides, etc.) embedded in your dataset. It helps you interpret content visually without switching context.

  • Enables fast visual inspection of image-based datasets or image-rich documents.
  • Enhances exploration of multi-modal spaces with side-by-side text + image reasoning.

Key Features

  • Auto-Rendering: Images linked to points (e.g., figures, screenshots) appear as previews.
  • Hover Zoom: Hover over a node or Inspector panel to see a zoomed version.
  • Click to Expand: Open the image in a full panel for deeper inspection.
  • Works in 2D & 3D: Image preview is supported across all map modes.

Tips

  • Use image preview when working with datasets like histology slides, microscopy, or presentation decks.
  • Combine with clustering to visually group similar-looking data.
  • Works great alongside text summaries to correlate visuals and themes
